my parents got the invite t my aunt's wedding alrd.like just now.and cousins are like still SOO not invited.and it's at the RITZ CARLTON!omg,it must be freaking ex.my mum says their inviting like a ton of ppl.and there's a freaking live band.
thing is,dress code is FORMAL.which i think explains for the lack of under 21s.haha.ppl under that age will go crazy at weddings and play.yeahp,so true.

i want a blog song.cant think of anything nice,that is,eh suitable.i'm kinda over TH now,so unless they release a totally rocking album right about now,they'll dissapiear from the face of my blog for a while.since it just appeared.

i realised perc needs a blog song TOO.
and that perc needs to CALL back our juniors for more prac otherwise when they come back they might not even remember CROTCHETS. haha,that's kinda impossible.
i realised(another realization) that perc has yet to touch our juniors,like it's APRIL,and they have yet to touch the snare or bass drum,OR have anything to do with breathing exercises. like seriously,we dont even do warmups tgt in the service room.so bad.
alicia says alot of 2b ppl joininh band cos of gina oh,who joined because of her sister debbie oh? and chances are if they are accepted,without diaphram training,might be sent STRAIGHT to perc.OAO
and if that happens,if there are even 3,perc might outnumber like CLARINETS in full power. jeez,so half the section will end up as reserves la.haha,it's like perc isnt supposed to outnumber clarinets,at most similar amount.can you imagine a band with like 10 tubists and what 4 clarinets or something?it sounds super hilarious,either the tubists cant play louder than a ppp or the clarinets cant play softer than sfz,then it'll be okay and in balance.haha.

it's like during syf prep i didnt even FEEL like it was alot of pracs,and now it's like NOTHING, there's a big gaping hole in my free time that i spend doing pointless useless stuff i cant even remember.great.band just HAS to have this kind of effect on me.oh whatever,it'll be stuck in my head that i miss band until who knows when,so who cares.let's get on with my post!

syf acsb

today went for acsb syf perf.they were okay.but then results were STARTLING.
swiss cottage got silver?!?!?ms tan let us listen to their normal prac recording and said they like confirm gold one,then in the end got same as acsb?even ms tan say the standard really not the same.oh then got this sch their choice piece super cool.as in fun cool.got frying pan and this dk what instrument that sounds buzzy and metal chain and stuff.but they got bronze lo.silea say they very messy and out of balance.still.so fun looking!
then yeah.alexis was pissed cos acsb horns mispitch alot but still got silver.most of us think if we got judged(?) with this kind of standard in mind,we can get gold/silver.but we suay got alot of more pro bands on the same day....but still.
then its the congrats to acs time.alicia...zzzz.dun dare.
then go home.alicia called some ppl and asked for cab fare cos we took cab here to watch th performance.Zzzz.called 2 diff ppl some more.

syf.omg omg omg.we achieved a super high standard compared to our past one and got a...
bronze.yeah.kinda dissapointing.but we learnt so much and built so many frenships and bonds in the process,who cares?we all know that we're a gold with honour honours(intentionally 2 honours) band at heart.so we'll fight for even better results next syf.
ppl cried.i teared for a bit right after announcements cos evbd was snffing and i just got affected.
you know who i think was to blame for our bronze?those bands that just HAD to pull up the entire standard.yup.,that's right.those G/H bands.haha.jk.
