i think there's smth wrong with either
-online maps, or
-the structuring of schools.
because... if you compare stc with st marg's, or js, or barker. they have about the same size. which is wth cause our school just seems rather pathetic. holding school seems damn humungous with way too much empty space. i swear. i made all the maps zoom in at 10 and th sizes are damn close.

i'm like bloody serious lor. see, i even left the zoom scroll thing. this is twisted. i think it's both the sch and the map. our sch doesn't know proper architecture to seem larger. or maybe it's the place. being on a hill doesn't help it to seem grand and majestic-ish. like some other schools do. yup i'm being random. this came from me checking out where was barker cause i'm going there on wednesday fr a concert! WHEE!!


i hope crescent hasn't kept their short skirts. it's kinda rather obscene. coming from a girl who's actually used to girl's shortening uniforms. i'm serious. th short skirts on stage just disturb me.

movie and js

movie on th 25th

wednesday went watch movie with alicia. sister's keeper. at first cancelled, but alicia called me that morning to ask me to go. were on same train, but alicia missed the stop at outram to transfer. O.o thankfully not late for movie.
was quite sad luh, th movie. felt like slapping the mum sometimes. seriously. but yeah. teared abit, and heard alicia sniffling. asked if she was crying nvr answer me. best part, this person didn't know th movie was based on a book. someone buy me the book, i think it's gna be better than th movie. or more tear-worthy. after movie walked around abit. alicia got asked to test something out, you know like for nails or smth. walked walked, went skypark. at first didn't want to take off shoes, but tempted to, so i did. haha, super troublesome though. then went to find alexis and her friend. can't spell name, so i won't. bought some stuff at page one then went bk a while. shared fries with alicia, left at 4+.

JS on th 26th

woke up, then texted jasmine. since they going over later, i decided to sleep more and shower. then went out. jasmine was at commonwealth forever, so i went js alone first. just nice their break. then they had sectional drills. all they do is turn. ebby says that they learnt how to check dressing but never do it, and they don't march on th spot. it was okay luh, a bit better than band drills. told ebby sectional drills are supposed to be more strict than whole band. blah blah. jasmine came during the drills. practiced some of th songs with them. etc etc. normal stuff. they have A BLOODY LOT OF BREAKS okay. got food one somemore. still say we very strict. i think they prac as much as they break lor, esp when mr ee is arnd. ms tan came in to say some stuff. turned on metronome, no one listened. ms tan say it's typical of percussionists. .....
a certain drumset player never seems to play below ff even when he doesn't have to. mallets is okay, but slack abit so quite easy to miss. then auditions was messy, they kept getting distracted. rolling...which they can do but apparently stc can't. something ms tan said a few times. argh. whatever. then stuff, and packed up and left. me and jasmine left first cause the rest took damn long. saw some of the barker guys at mrt station. jasmine saw first, i thought she was talking about js guys cos she just said acs. then i saw kelly. haha. thought about what alicia would do if she was arnd. went down, and saw xuan when jasmine walked over. got into same cabin. talked abit. told him jasmine was going commonwealth to buy clothes. didn't believe us, i think cause i was laughing. argh... i'm jealous about their jap trip. 4 days of NON-BAND STUFF. not really luh, but like 4 days of slack. then yeah. transfer train at raffles, he waited with us for the train to come before leaving. still have to add "i'm such a nice guy right?". LOL. then took train back t tiong fr dinner. END. =D

tyvm. hah, it's a new blogskin, AGAIN. something is seriously wrong with me. changed last friday at cousin's house, while they were playing Wii. the dinner was kinda rubbish, but then went macs to play. haha. it's a TRADITION, broken only if it's a sunday and there's school the next day. anyway after macs decided to just sleep at mel's place. stayed up kinda late, about 3. apparently mel and hong stayed up till 6. power. but seriously, staying up late twice in one week was kinda tiring, so i was the first to stop doing anything. not that i did much in the first place.
i wanted to write about some theory of mine, but i forgot what it was. one day i'll remember. there's nothing much to write about. so much more when there's band and stuff. and i missed out on class outing, cause i was at mel's place, and had no money to spare. =P

band camp

it was fun! haha. reached kinda early. fall in, sectional drills, got abit sore throat. then lunch and games and stuff. bbq rather sucked, because perc had no food. the thing we had most was bananas. everyone took everything else. we had 4 chicken wings, 4 fishballs, more than 10 small bananas, one jar of nutella, some sweet potatoes, some nuggets, a few sausages. thank god some people offered, like zihwei! haha. but still went kinda hungry. got th farewell thing fr seniors. only our section had alot of tears, got jasmine, yuri suzanne and maybe eliz. i was like HUH??!?! don't cry! haha.
then dismissed fr shower. was abit slow in the showers cos 1 1/2 teams went to a shower with maximum 3 cubicles to use and some people wanted a proper shower and heater. yifang and patricia shared, i was next to them to wait fr them to throw the hose over. there was a CAT! haha. then watched abit of madagascar before wong told us to watch some football thing. our empress fell asleep within the first 5 minutes. O.o
then can go sleep, but didn't. we started watching jennifer's body, which eliz brought. then wong came and told us since it was nc16, we can't watch, so stop. and we did, and watched knowing, with this creepy girl. then we started watching the movie again. i swear it does not deserve nc16 as a rating. lesbianism, killing only. not even that gorish. not explicit either. abit of swearing. nvr show like intestines or anything. but i was okay. jen died and her bff went to an asylum, and she can FLYYY! WOO! haha. snacked alot during the movie. coke at night! then eliz and alicia went to steal choco rolls. given by wong. one whole box of it. then they did something else, while i tried to sleep.
next morning, breakfast, then prizegiving. no promotion ceremony, i think cause too little people. cleaned up as well. then decided to go js. with alexis, sushan, all 3 empresses and a few others i can't remember. waited a while, then went tiong to drop off some bags and eat. then trained to newton.
was kinda awkward at first. the small boy told us(me, jas, sushan) that girls don't belong here, go back. second time he kena caught by tan. and apologized. they ran through th trash can thing. abit messy at times, but overall quite okay luh. then SOMEONE hit a pingpong ball damn high, i must stand 3 chairs and stretch. and ebenezer just HAD to say that i didn't dare go up cause there were guys around. as though i don't wear shorts or anything. and he told everyone to look away or something. just because i was in school u. rolled my eyes at that. seriously. kept bugging me to go get it before too. jeez.
they ran through, then went to the hall to run through with the band. why the hell is their performing arts hall larger than our school hall?!?! as in the one with seating, like concert hall. reminded me abit of SCH. seats slope up somemore. i'm bloody jealous. we watched them play, commented among ourselves, etc. then alicia and phoebe came. watched them somemore. i swear they play no kick one, esp perc. i said like is it all acs guys must stare score? tambourine must stare, drumset must stare. haha. we were all like, zzz, drumset no kick. but i guess it's okay luh. then they were dismissed to fall in. their drills are like ?!?!? blossom wanted to die. she was like OMG they're like moving, etc etc. haha, bloody hilarious. then almost went newton to eat, but didn't. walked to train with jasmine, sushan, alicia, her jie and one other person. who dissapeared after a while. haha. talked abit. i mentioned the 8 days magazine on the train. alicia's jie asked us to shut up. and alicia was like don't you see yrself everyday? lols. me and jasmine got off at tiong and i homed.
i realised we keep going to newton, or more like acs. don't ask me why, i just follow.
acsj's honour's day is tmrw. but alicia sushan not going, so i'm not either. =P

friday the 13th

it's supposed to be a suay day isn't it? but i think cause whoever it is that controls this stuff couldn't arrow us that day, they arrowed us the next day! whoops! this is a few days late. but still... i'm still posting. so don't complain.
saturday, woke up at like 6+. felt like i was the one going for band, and not to watch people. but whatever. got ready and trained to newton. met sushan and jasmine and joy, walked to newton food centre to hitch ride frm alicia's dad. reached there, not sure if can go in, so jasmine asked CMZ whether can. at first not sure, so we sat outside and talk/stoned. then they let us in for 5 minutes, where they run through sock hop. we were like wtf?!?! esp for perc, cos got no kick at all. like tambourine must look at score, drumset like not power enough,etc. then they moved out. we stood around for a bit, bought some food, jasmine got like lots of money to buy from some generous person. then we got BANANA CAKE. i'm telling you, they told us BANANA. then when they opened it i was like, UH, why got orange stuff inside? apparently it was carrot, so none of us ate it. push to other people. the performance was okay, not SUPERRR fun, but not bad luhs. i like barker fanfare. i want a STC fanfare, except the name sounds wierd. sock hop initial player had problem with the rhythm, so ben lam took over, quite well too! haha. then we helped them move back. they put STICKS in their COWBELL. seriously. but yeah. then they packed up and stuff. talked talked, waited for something to happen. some of them went to haunted house, alicia, jasmine,CMZ, and some other guys. sushan and i waited, with jacob. yups.
oh oh oh, i think suzanne, jacob and alicia have extreme views on appearance. suzanne says BL is ugly, jacob says the same to K, and alicia says "xuan xuan" looks like a girl. when i totally don't think it's half as bad as they think.
we tried to get in through the back i think. and it was damn hot and stuffy.
our two perc people came out traumatized. and in total shock. went back bandroom fr the aircon. talked, discussed, played some games. some played FOOTBALL IN TH BANDROOM, some played cards/gambled, some played other games! we got one of the most shocking calls ever, like totally unexpected. like when we realised what was happening we were like wtf?!? yups, but no details, you know means you know. me and suzanne cabbed to harbourfront. went to cut hair. at first it's damn nice, now it's flicking OUT, which makes it damn wierd.
that's ALLLLL. i think my blogskin is kinda rather screwed.but i can't be bothered to fix it.

i want to post. and don't at the same time.
nco thing yesterday. met alicia, suzanne, haein, janice, joy, alexis at newton. cause i missed the train. O.o then went to eat/ drink some stuff. went to bus stop to go t ccab. saw micheal there. we were all like walking away to leave him with alexis. alicia wanted to jump into the drain. and said there was a tortoise in it. i don't believe her. bussed to ccab. twice. cause we THOUGHT we were on the wrong bus, so alight at the next stop. in the end we were on the right bus. so waited for another one. got there. no more seats left, so sat on the floor. saw the bms and all standing there alr. didn't see jasmine at first.
but yeah.. performances, marching, mace twirling, etc. uber cool. others took some pics/ videos. we screamed abit. but our empress blossom didn't hear us, even though we screamed when she was just a few metres away. but jasmine, who was forever away, did. joy randomly screamed jasmine a couple of times. in the no way will she hear you way. haha. then finished. went for hugs, congratz, pics, playing. saw kdy walking past, so nudged alicia's drum, which was on her shoulder. then she went OI don't push lah, v heavy leh! so i left it at that. in the end she couldn't find him. haha. she even mistakenly used another term to call him with other people, who didn't know who it was.
another big big embarrassment. she totally didn't recognize ben lam. cause she wanted to tease suzanne, so wanted to find him. she went over to the barker boys there, stood there for a while, then turned away and went, EH WHERE IS BEN LAM AH? when he was standing like opposite her in the group. i kept quiet.hah. in the end she found out was like BUT HE DON'T LOOK LIKE BEN LAM! ah freaking hilarious. like she never see him before w/o glasses or something. in the end she apologized to him. kinda. ah bloody hilarious lah. afterwards went to the audi place to wait for blossom and jasmine. alicia helped clean blossom's court shoe of mud. me and suzanne walked off first. then walk walk walk, saw someone she was looking for. so tried to call her. no answer, so went to find her. told her got "smth important". but guess what, when she saw the person, was like turn head in another direction and went EH WHERE"S THE MRT AH? stupid. so bloody obvious want to avoid. then walked out. we played abit. ALMOST did drills. but didn't .shouted some random drum rhythm for marching. alicia and alexis said great job, congratz to random people. thought about eating dinner with barker. but not allowed. but in the end we ended up at the same place. different level though. hah. then alicia saw and played peekaboo with this small boy arnd 3 years old. she was like why isn't he 13-14 years older. O.o
the boy looks kinda like ben lam. eyes bigger, but generally yes. we were like what if he really called ben? haha. in the end he left. sad. suzanne thinks the boy doesn't look like though. it's just her being in denial.alicia said congratz to some random person, turns out was the wrong one. he kept looking at her wierd after that.hah afterwards took suzanne's dad's car home. it's super cool. it can CALL. omg. cars shouldn't do that. and we were like got game? got internet? haha. but yeah. then homed, watched tv and slept on the couch. woke up at 3am and went to bedroom. and slept till who knows when.
